2. Your scenarios stay with you

The calculators keep everything you enter in the page address and in your browser's session storage. Nothing you type is stored on our servers, and we keep no accounts. A link you copy contains your inputs; anyone you send it to can open them.

3. Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. When you open a page, the hosting provider records the request in server logs: the address requested, the date and time, the browser and operating system, the referring page, and your IP address. These logs serve the secure and reliable delivery of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and are not combined with other data. Transfers to the USA rest on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

4. Reading property documents

On the private-home calculator you can upload documents about a property, such as the caderneta predial, the habitation licence, the energy certificate, plans or specialty projects, to have their facts read into the evaluation. Each file is sent from your browser to our server and from there to Anthropic, PBC, 548 Market St, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA, whose model reads it, together with the facts already entered on the page so that documents can be compared, and returns the facts and findings. The file is held in memory for that one request and is not stored by us, not logged, and not used for anything else. Anthropic processes it as our processor under a data processing agreement, does not use it to train its models, and retains API inputs for a limited period for abuse monitoring under its commercial terms; the transfer to the United States rests on Anthropic's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and on standard contractual clauses.

Such documents usually name other people: the owner, the architect, the engineers. We process that data in our legitimate interest, and yours, in evaluating a purchase from the documents a buyer lawfully receives (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); nothing about those people is kept, and the reader is instructed not to report it. Upload only documents you are entitled to share. To keep the service available we count readings per network address for a short time in memory; those counts hold no content and expire within the day.

5. Map and fonts from Google

The results page shows the property's location on a map loaded from Google Maps, and every page loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. Both are provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When they load, your browser sends your IP address to Google, and Google Maps may set cookies of its own. We use them in our legitimate interest in a readable site and a usable map (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Google's privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.

6. Analytics, only with your consent

We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to see which pages are used and where visitors come from. It loads only after you accept it in the banner; until then nothing is sent to Google and no cookie is set. If you accept, Google sets a cookie with a random identifier that lasts up to two years and receives the pages you view, the time you spend, the site that referred you, your approximate location from a truncated IP address, and your browser and device. We have turned on IP anonymisation and do not use the data for advertising. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time through Cookie settings in the footer; the tag then stops loading on your next visit. Google may transfer the data to the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Google's terms for this are at policies.google.com/privacy.

7. Cookies

We set no cookies of our own. The only cookies on this site are Google Analytics's, and only after you accept them. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage so the banner does not ask again.

8. Email

If you write to us, we keep your message and address for as long as it takes to deal with it and for any legal retention period (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

9. Your rights

You may ask for access to the personal data we hold about you, for its correction or erasure, for the restriction of its processing, for its transfer, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to the address above. You may also complain to a supervisory authority; ours is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
